[Spells help] Tsunami

Syntax: cast 'tsunami'

This spell summons the power of water, striking everyone in the room fiercely. Only those with the ability to breath water or resist all elemental damage can escape its wrath, as an enormous wave of water raises from the earth and floods everything within sight. If someone is unlucky enough, the water will not dry off his skin, making him more vulnerable to cold, electricity and ice attacks.

See also: 'cone of cold' 'water breathing' 'resist elements' 'airy bubble'

Expert level spell for warlocks, hits all room, friend and foe. May cause "wet" effect, and then electricity and ice attacks give multiple damage. Can be resisted by water breathing, airy bubble and resist elements. It always stroke me as wierd that warlocks never got any water based elemental damage spell. So here's an idea. Oh, and take out that stupid, useless detect poison, will you? :P

P.S. Races that are bad swimmers (halflings, gnomes etc) may even be more vulnerable to the damage the spell itself causes.

Only becuase I see a chance here to promote my idea about different types of warlocks...

This could be a spell that gets exchanged with magma like cone of cold (in my thoery) and could have a "choke" effect (in place of cling effect)...

This is a nice idea, but how about adding damage when your in a storm? also what about reach in the wilderness?

Or instead of making this a seperate spell, 'earthquake' could just trigger a similar effect when cast over deep water. But yeah... modest HP damage, big ol' chunk of PE damage [worse if one can't swim?], + temporary lightning/cold vulnerability? Could be interesting.

[p.s. 'Cone of Cold' IS the water spell, since ice = water. ;)]

Try casting cone underwater on something.

This is already in place.

Anyways, I don't think warlocks need yet -another- pk spell in their arsenal. What they do need, however, is a revised DoT for magma cling.

Could you just imagine the cheaterness of this when combined with another cabal spell that stops you from moving? Drain that pe and watch them unable to even word away! Talk about an 'i win' button.

Cone of cold isn't ice.

Warlocks should get a certain cabal skill that involves wind added to their arsenal.

It shouldn't have resist elements effect it. It's a friggen tital wave, it's sheer impact is what is doing damage to you, that and you drowning, like being hit with a ginormous mace. If you want resist elements to affect a tidal wave you should just as well have nullify damage vs blunt objects too.

:P
