Healing rays was changed into a group spell because of rays. Magma spray is a spray and is now useless as far as cling damage, remove the cling and make it a group spell. Cone of Cold then Magma Spray, all around cold damage all around fire damage, change the cast time/damage as need be.

Don't like what I type, don't read.

You seriously need to learn what 'class balance' is. Yeah, let's just screw warlocks of all their single-target attack spells. Real smart.

They have already been screwed out of a nice section of damage on their great spell.

I like the idea of a spray, like color spray.

Quit reading.

Edit: Fix the cling damage so it can't be absorbed. Make it a group affecting spell that divides the initial spray across the whole group, then subjects them to cling on a one to one basis. Those who are stuck with it suffer cling damage on a regular interval, and the intitial blast is not severe enough to devistate a large group. Gives a unique boost to the spell.

Yana, and Grakus, can you both stop being [REDACTED] and focus on what really needs to be done: fixing the damage over time code.

The DOT code is fine. It's the fact that the spell's cling isn't enough damage to cause actual damage as it did when it was tick-based. So the issue isn't the code, but the damage.

For the magma "spray" debate magma squirt just doesnt sound right. So warlocks call it magma spray to sound more hip the name doesnt always reflect the spell. Final strike for example is not always final.

If the spell cling time is not to be altered because of time between magma clings is to be kept constant perhaps double the damage in the first half of the spell and leave you with cooling magma for the second half of the spell that does no damage.

Wait, you're saying that Dulrik can fix the way the damage is handled without changing the code at all?
