Oh, damn it. Inzy never got that talk from Delear.

Delear was one crazy bastard, and I have never seen him get PK'd.
I can't believe he age deathed.

The fourteen or so IC years which separated our main characters was much less than the 175 year lifespans, and you were a good rival in both PK and RP. So long and thanks for all the fish.

I have two fond memories of Delear. The first is a battle shortly after I learned how to best use a particular cabal spell. We fought three or four rounds in the Taslamaran fields, neither of us able to get the necessary advantage to land a kill, and you earned respect from me then.

The second is probably also from around that time. Delear sent a tell as if disclosing some great secret. Frollith, naturally underestimating the intelligence of a deep-elf, thought he was about to blow something big, and kept coming up with vague lies trying to get him to disclose more information. It didn't work, and I'm sure you had a good laugh on the other end getting me to bend to your faith.

What I saw of Delear from alts was that he was generally friendly to newbies who were willing to bend to his roleplay, which was consistant during each encounter but absolutely impossible for me to follow as a player. As you've stated, that was part of who Delear was; I just wish I understood him better now.

If I could give any advice for you in the future, it would be to not take defeat or opposition personally. Different people naturally have different ideas of what RP or PK should be like, and just because you disagree doesn't make them wrong.

All in all, a more than solid character, and one I hope is remembered for a long time.

Not trying to be a jackass or anything but... sure he had solid RP, sure he was a constant force over a 3 IRL time span, sure I interacted with him as an enemy, a student, and *kind of* as a friend, sure he was a great example of the class and the alignment that he played...

But I think he's a bit over rated based on these other posts about him being the best every in everything.

Ages of inactivity between his good points... having his hands in things, and then disappearing off the who list for long stretches of time to the point where I thought he was deleted because of inactivity on more than one occassion. I believe Delear to be most of the things presented in all the other posts and quite possibly the most over hyped character in recent memory.

Great character, great concept, well played and yes please another, much <3 and mucho fishes... But a helpfile? A NPC? I can think of at least ten other characters that have been as impactful if not more than Delear in the three or so years I have been playing and no I do not mean any of mine. Period.

Well, first try play something else than a hoarding, hiding [REDACTED] that can actually be a tiny fragment of what Delear was, and then we might even consider to read your dipshit comments. [REDACTED].

Juggy, if you even bother reading what I post you will see that this is in no way a flame towards the player or Delear.



You instantly flame me saying that I haven't contributed anything to SK, yet if you read the afterlife thread for either of my last two characters... revitalizing a cabal and being known as "A Pyrathian Institution"... Yeah, I've done nothing but hoard...

However you are so buried in your bigotry that you refuse to even READ what I write, instead you'd rather fill your beloved hero's afterlife thread with flames towards me. How disrespectful.

In closing. Delear's player. GG Rematch Please. Juggy, please learn to be literate.

1) No one cares whether or not you read their comments, juggernaut. Hate to break it to you, but if you want to bash Fepel, make your own thread elsewhere and do it.

2) Fepel's entitled to state his own thoughts on the character just as much as anyone else. That's what the Afterlife section is about. [REDACTED].

That being said, Delear was pretty okay.

I will simply say that I hope to see the player make another character.

I really, really hope that he will.

Was a blast sitting around the harlie tent chatting with you and Kazriel. Sucks to see him finally go, and sucks I couldnt be there to see the end. Good luck with whatever's next and peace.
