The double spacing after a period rule was meant for typewriters. Computer word processing programs already naturally insert the correct amount of space in between a period and the following word. So techniqually two spaces after a period is incorrect when you are typing anything on a computer. This is also taught to graphic designers who design fonts, since part of font design is the amount of space between any two characters.

SK Character: That'd be telling
I concur with Cannibal as I learnt to type on a typewriter and we were taught to use double spaces... then, as if by some divine magik, a great big brick of a BBC Micro was gifted to us *ooooh* and double spacing became a thing of the past.

The imms just need to delete characters like Yindarajin, problem solved. There isn't really that much RPless pk, it just seems like that. The problem is most people would rather not die, so they're not going to sit around and rp with you, waiting for you to kill them. So you rp afterwards, if they manifest, and if they don't manifest, it's the dead person's fault. And then the problem with sticking around afterwards is as soon as someone dies they type in this ---->cb OMFG I just got gankeded by xXx, come kill them, HURRY!!!!!111!!!1!1!<---- I have been killed/attacked numerous times for sticking around after killing someone. If you could trust characters on SK, it might be possible to have meetings where you threaten each other or whatever and noone dies, but 85% of the SK population will say something like ----> "Yes, we can meet and discuss this and I promise there won't be any violence!" and you get there and they have 5 friends with them and they steamroll over you, or they'll have the meeting and after you finish talking, they'll have 1 or 2 of their friends who've been waiting like 3 rooms away come in and kill you. Lighties and darkies both.

For anyone who hasn't noticed, to a lot of people lewt>rp.

And Yana, somehow you fail to understand that making death mean something isn't going to help the innocent people, it's going to hurt them, now will you just stfu already? This thread is completely stupid.

And I'm done. :drunk:

Scientists who used both the metric system and English system of measurements managed to crash a satellite into Jupiter.
