Good subtypes(yes, pitchforks are above average) shouldn't be in great amounts. That's the point of elite items. As there are not many adam/energy greataxes, kamas, flamberges or khopeshes(sacred stuff aside, blame religion HFs for not having sacred pitchforks), there shouldn't be many adam/energy pitchforks.

Else I'd like a recently nerfed ME regen item to be un-nerfed again.

Well, it wouldn't be so much of a problem if people didn't hoarde crap. Like people without the sword skill having two mithril khopeshes, or people without the whip skill having whips.

Then kill them for the whip or sword.

I don't need either, and occasionally I'm guilty of doing such things myself, just pointing out that if this didn't happen, weapon availability wouldn't be so much of a problem.

Curious. What about a person who sits in a cabal HQ whenever logged on, with etherealform and a cabal spell that protects them against voodoo who has half of SK's rare crap in her little bag?

How do you propose to 'kill' them? Raid the keep, you say, take the cabal relic, you say ...but last time that happened, she did NOT log on until it was reclaimed.

I think imms should step in from time to time and slay/eat corpse on players that behave like this.

I think you answered your own question. If this mythical person is forced to not log on, they will not have logged enough hours to keep their elite gear during the monthly equipment purge.

Lolth logs on Melithindlee when there is next to no one on as she is from Germany, maintains *just* enough hours to hold the lewt, and does absolutely nothing with it. She's held the staff of demise for nearly a year IRL, keeping it out of circulation among other l33t l3wt, and as far as I can see has yes a valid RP reason, but is very much breaking the golden rule. You cannot voodoo her *read hammer*, and finding her to kill her save of a darkie gank squad when peak numbers are 10 or so at her peak play time to go break into Morea while getting past the guards that spawn, and to get her before she just recalls while eth and then teleports away randomly...

She is not mythical, but good material pitchforks of any quantity are.

You said it yourself, you do not want to see players being unkillable. Remove voodoo from being blocked by a cabal spell.
