The only change I would find feasible to the game to help you RP this would be to make deep tongue availiable as mastered from creation to delves gnomes and dwarves, as well as sylvan automaticly mastered by elves and sprites.

Please put this in the game.

I agree with those requesting a revamp of the deep-elven city so it doesn't scream "drow". Just getting rid of the spiders and changing the spider temple to Thuban or Dabi would be an enormous improvement.

Thuban! Religion about deceit>>>destruction>>>>>disease for a city of deep-elves. I honestly think it'd be really neat for some sort of group based in the Deep, there are always more than enough deep-elves and evil gnomes and what not to support the group.

And yet Sadr is the current incarnation of a line of goddesses that have been deep-elf orientated. It'd be a close call - or better, some clever builder might decide to incorporate the battle of faiths into the new city scheme.

Not that I think it'll happen. For some reason, Ch'zzrym has been left conspicuously absent on builder lists for the last several years.

When I think about the deep-elves, I almost never associate them with Sadr, I mean, look at the quests you do in the city, they're pretty much all about the matrons being deceitful and tricky and what not.

Actually, most of the stuff in the city is associated with Yenko.

Yenko is el dead. It's time for ze deep-elves to move on to better things! (Not sure how people who live underground worship the Goddess of Winter(or ice, or whatever she was besides disease)))

Yenko kicked [REDACTED]. That was probably the best religion darkies had going for them aside from war.

Yenko was way better than Ariakas/Sargas. Konstantin's period was the only time the quality of player was better in the latter.

And yes, Yenko is dead - in that she evolved (essentially) into Sadr. But Sadr would, logically, at least have an interest in deep-elves. I'm not saying Sadr would be the only one, and it would be interesting to see a conflict in the city, but the groundwork is certainly there for a Sadr-oriented underdark.
