I'm so glad the old "Hey I'm bored let's play mommy" game hasn't faded out from SKs.

Ha. Being pregnant didn't stop Aerlyn from marching on the Monastery. Having a child isn't a part of her roleplay right now in any large portion. The child's tucked away in Craeftilin.

So very quick to jump to conclusions.

I don't care what "being pregnant" does or does not stop your character from doing. The fact is that your character was "pregnant". The fact that you've now decided to explain the obviously detailed RP of you "tucking the child away" somewhere only damns your case further.

The above paragraph was rife with quotation marks because there is no such thing as "being pregnant" in SKs, nor was there any "baby" as has been suggested.

And yes, you're right im2old4u, deep-elves do still equate to drow despite that attempt to pull away from the uh... What is it, forgotten realms? The forgotten realms idea. This lack of change is mostly because of Ch'zzrym's lack of change.

so why is there a midwife in SK if there's no being pregnant?

and how to children happen? and where did your character come from?

just because some people want to RP something you don't want to doesn't mean it's illegitimate. that's the beauty of open-eneded RP.

While something like the Deep Realm having a starting point cant be supported by the current player base, changes such as these might increase the player base to support it. Personally, I think, whether or not the p-base can support it, that we need a starting point for delves gnomes and dwarves. One in each city. But thats just me. Definantly the deep elves though. They need a set of moonstones and a starting point.

I have no NPC/player to kill in order to make your mother suffer for her stupidity. That is why it is Dee dee dee.

I was thinking perhaps something along the lines of what the MC is, a mix, would be pretty cool.

I believe that if Delf city was going to be a starting town, it would need a recalling stone thingy.

It would also be the single most phat-lewt filled starting town of all times.
Any time you needed a wand of etherealform or an adamantite falchion, your home town has it.

In other words: You want your char to be a chzrymer? Make him teronian, master deep tongue, and spend your time in chz.

The only change I would find feasible to the game to help you RP this would be to make deep tongue availiable as mastered from creation to delves gnomes and dwarves, as well as sylvan automaticly mastered by elves and sprites.

Thats my 2 cents

PS: As for PC pregnancy, I will not go as far as to say it is completely lame, it has potential to promote interesting RP. However, 99 out of 100 times I've seen it, it has been nothing but a silly little attempt at getting attention, a lame spam of emotes, and/or a fake RP where the 'mother' refuses to RP the death of her child when, for instance, a pissed off barbarian centaur eviscerates her and the child. She just comes back and claims to have 'resurrected' the child. As if all people on pyrathia have the willpower to return to life from the river.
I know, the commoner respawns after a time but that does not mean someone resurected him. Its simply a different commoner.
