Things you'll hardly ever see these days---Scouts, Bards, Sorcies and Shamans.(don't know why Shamans are rare, IMO they're the 2nd strongest class in SK)

Shamans are a [REDACTED] to level, and they're definately not -that- powerful.

Shamans are not that hard to level, they're by far easier than priests. Priests and shamans get pretty much the exact same things from level 1 till Jman except, shamans get axes(very good weapon for leveling)Then at Jman shamans get I believe Spirit Aura, Flamestrike and 2nd attack all at the same(SA=super easy leveling) then at vet(whatever comes after Jman) they get call lightning which is great for leveling, and then shamans and priests both get heal and at mentor shamans get spirit horde, which is awesome for leveling if you think about it. With Spirit Horde, I was able to get 5 extra levels easily from a place I was already at the highest familiarity with.

P.S. Shamans are pretty buff.

I totally agree with Syndal. Shamans are fine and one of the easiest classes you can hit GM fast and solo(sorcs are by far the best class in that aspect though).

Everybody says that, so I must be missing something(or I just suck  ) , since sorcies are the hardest class for me to level.

Jada was the first character I got past apprentice. So it can't be that hard. Of course, she was deleted before she got past mentor.

I've never argued that they are not fine, or "buff". I'm arguing that, at least for me, they are a complete pain in the [REDACTED] to level. I think I'm leveling my fourth shaman now (two gnomes, one centaur) and I'm still amazed at how slow the leveling is.

I like the class when it's finally at a ripe level, but I wouldn't say that it is one of the "power-classes". It's fine, and that's how it should be.

I hit mentor in 36 hours on my current sorceror. After that, I stopped caring about leveling. I'm currently at about 150 hours, and nearly level 45.

Okay, the problem with your leveling of shamans Konge is, I would agree, leveling a voodoo cannon shaman probably sucks.(Don't see the point in a shaman gnome that isn't a voodoo cannon.) Leveling a balanced shaman was amazingly easy.

Most of mine has been hybrids, too. You'd be amazed how sucky a gnome is in melee though, and the centaur wasn't amazingly more proficient. I'd say your extra attack from sprite quickness is a great thing to have - and of course, I don't know about your charisma...
