I tried that once. It didn't work too well. Then, I'm about as good with code as SK players are with jokes.

Do you have a base that I might be able to start from?

Personally I'd suggest that you abandon simplemu in favor of other mud clients. Myself and another player I know used simplemu for a while, but I cannot recommend the program, especially if you're going to get involved in player killing. It just processes information very slowly.

Whatever client you prefer. Zmud is a popular client. There are others, however, like gmud and putty. I'm not really sure which ones you have to pay for though, and I don't care to check.

Simplemu baits for being free but it's really slow, and disadvantageous.

Yes, the feature is called spawned windows but I haven't used SimpleMU in years so I don't remember the exact steps to use it. It should be easy to figure out once you find the configuration dialog.

I used SimpleMU for several years and I can safely tell you that it is one of the worst clients ever. I have to wonder how I was capable to play, let alone PK with it. The only advantage it offered me, was that through it I learned to type with lightning speed.

I am really shocked to hear all of this. I have use simpleMU for years and I have liked it. But then again I am not very PK savy so that might be the reason that I have not seen it limits.
