And horribly unfaceted. It's a pity that the thread seems to have been derailed so badly.

I still fail to see how this rapid shot change would render scout bow-choices and tactics void. If it was to be implemented, a siege crossbow, for example, would be a viable choice for a scout. I don't even know about scout bow subtypes, but perhaps we wouldn't solely see scouts with long bows and a few with short bows...

If it gets implemented, all scouts will use longbows with a certain arrow type to get full benefits of damage/range while on a pretty good speed.

As it is now, if scouts need speed, they use another bow subtype with another ammunition type and sacrifice damage and range for the sake of speed.

That's the tactical part that will be negated if it gets implemented.

Sorry, that explanation was in regards to the ranged maim attack or whatever. I've already posted my thoughts on why I don't want scouts to get your skill.

I have also played one of the most succesful but underrated scouts ever:
Cleef Treefinger

I think scouts should have more attacks with the bow. How many you ask?
Five with shortbow+battle arrows
Four with longbow+barbed

Basically a +1 attack for all scout applications. Scouts are not as tough as you think. Dirt kick is one of a scouts biggest weapons, DIRT KICK!

Give them some damn compensation with the +1 to arrow attacks and make them worth playing for PK again.

Thats my 2 cents

There's a rule somewhere that says you can't call yourself underrated, I'm sure of it.

Successful = Killing bone shaman alone/having full eight skin suits of enemy's(adepts/harlequins) when they've yet to kill you once/winning at least thirty battle without dying/ tracking someone for fourty leagues and killing them with a friend of theirs/ defending ayamao(the easiest place to defend for a scout) for months IRL successfully without dying/ getting enlightenments left and right for above-par RP .... the list goes on .... but instead of inflating this ego let us come back to the topic .... more arrow attacks for scouts!

I'm tempted to say something about a horn and tooting ... and perhaps something about ownership.

Or perhaps just referring to the obvious sarcasm in my signature...
