That list makes very little sense to me. If you're worried about BS roleplay reasons for resurrections, then I think a list like this will foster more vague, weak and awkward (and forced) roleplay scenarios (ie. times where you have to act one way due to hard code, even if it makes no sense ICly) than anything else I can think of.
For example, what could possibly be the reason for Sadal to deny Dabi followers life, but give thubanites life? Why would they deny a man of Sargas life, provided he or she recognise and respect Sadal's influence on their lives? Why would Yed have more respect for knowledge and/or freedom than say Mira or Nashira?
I think I understand the -reasoning- behind such a list (levelling the resurrection field), but the roleplay consequences would be astronomical. I cannot think of even a semi-decent IC reason why Sadal would deny -any- creature of light, dark or shadows, provided they gave proficient respect to Sadals spheres.
Thats really my main problem. Hard coding resurrection restrictions is not, in my opinion, in any way benefitial to the roleplay of priests. The realities is that the pressure on some priest groups is very very high, but impeding their roleplay opportunities is -not- the way to make playing them more attractive, and its -not- the way to encourage good roleplay.
