I've got an odd request. I am in an army school for computer administration right now, and I decided to start mudding from the classroom. I introduced my buddies to SK and now they play ALL THE TIME. Even during class. They know how to proxy past the filters put on our computers, so I was wondering if you could bann our ip for a few days from the game. I can login to prove its my ip if you want... but this needs to stop before I get into trouble for introducing them to the game

Because he doesn't want people playing in school. Its been done once, and he even called the people there to tell them kids have been playing a game in the library.

Also, if they're proxying past the filter, couldn't they just use public IP proxies? That'd pretty much make an IP ban useless. I'm assuming that they have this knowledge, since they're in a computer administration class. Or maybe I have no idea of what I'm talking about.

That's not entirely correct.

If you know what your doing, you could EASILY get around the IP ban.

Why would you get in trouble for introducing them to a game? Isn't them who chooses to play in class?

I don't think a military academy is the same as school. People should be responsible for their own actions, so your buddies should know that they shouldn't play all the time, and you should have known not to play a game, and show others how to do the same, when you shouldn't have been.

I believe the person you need to talk to has a name something like "Corporal".
