Well, almost every single pvp death happened to me was a summon kill. I won't go into the tactic. They will summon kill any defenders. Shoot, why take a chance of getting killed by a larger group when you can just summon kill them. Sorry, Fepel. I remember quite clearly how my char has died for the most part. In fact, recently, there was a chance to do large pvp but instead they hid and summon killed me.

Giving them shield block would help alot, if they ever decided to be in the front row.

I know my Bard can kill any warrior class one on one, but I have the benefit of certain cabal skills.

Sounds to me like bards need to be wimped.

I disagree considering it is all hinges on my starting singing before getting bashed. If I get the song off I win. If not I am toast.

Bards from my testing seem an all or nothing class. I either kick [REDACTED] or I last a couple rounds and I am toast. Of course the toast time was before I had gotten persuade and could walk around with a bunch of wards up. So I will have to see what happens then.

EDIT: And like I said, I have the added bonus of Cabal skills so you have to take that into consideration.

It seems to me that this should not happen. Therefore, unless it is Dulrik's plan to make an adventuring class that is more of a standalone warrior (unlike any other adventuring class, all of which rely heavily on others), bards need to be wimped.

Garictol (griffon barb) could beat bards one on one with out a problem. It is a matter of them not useing the right tactics againt the bard if they are getting beaten. Bards seem balanced at the moment, a well played bard can probably beat any class if they use the right tactics just like every other class.

Ahhh . . .If you were able to beat them easily. I have practiced many different ways in one on one. I haven't found a way that a bard can ever beat a barbarian or merc for that matter.

I owned Lorathamir 1v1 with Felnoris.

I also remember owning you in like 5 hits from the +8/+7 enchanted void spear, a few rounds after that.
