Saying bards should get shield block because of their [REDACTED] HP is like saying a sorceror should get toughness so they can tank better. Necromancers too.

I remember not so long ago a certain bard beat Aedus, (Zavijahs tank d0rf) in 4 out of 8 duels, the other's Aedus won. Bards are not weak, not weak enough to merit getting another skill. Just learn how to play your class.

Garanol, I would suggest some brain-cell work-out. You compare bards, adventuring class, often 1st row blah blah blah, to mages, cloth class, casters, always at least second row, charmies, mirror images, ethereal blah blah blah? You really need some help.

Rogues and scouts (the other adventuring classes) are never in the front row. What are you talking about?

Nor should bards be. At not least for long. *cough tumble cough*

Bards more than any other class require finesse and skill. Don't like it? Play a barbarian or swashie. The number of things you can/have to do are much more limited.

Hi tool. Did you read my post? Did I say anywhere that bards should NOT get shield block? I dont see that. I agree that bards should get shield block. But NOT because they have "[REDACTED] hp." Learn how to twink your HP out if its that much of an issue. The ONLY reason that Bards should get shield block is because they are an adventuring class.

Comprehension skills for the win!

That's what my post was suggesting, though I left it unsaid.

Yeah, I don't know why I felt the need to make it more explicit... *looks up* Oh, yeah.

No adventuring class should be in the front row, kiddies. Having no shield block for a bard is simply a reminder of that fact.

Remember, most pvp combat today right now is summon kill. Not many go on hunts anymore willing to take the consequences of large pvp combat.
