Even if you charm them, they cannot energize. And Z is immune but Kin/Teona is not.

There are no mana potions because there is no code to support it. If there were a spell that increased mana (heaven forbid), then it would be possible to brew a potion of it. Otherwise, the coding in the game simply doesn't allow for it.

It would be possible to script a likeness of a mana potion, but it would be an awkward work-around that would be quite unconvincing and thus too lame to bother with, IMO. I've often thought of creating mana potions (or love potions), but the coding/scripting language isn't really conducive to it.

Like folks have been saying, there are scripted items that do much the same thing (the mana batteries are particularly neat--I wish I had thought of them).

While scribing or brewing, don't forget how nice it is to have a bard around. Wink wink nudge nudge.

Does that only work if the bard is a higher level that you. My GM shaman was brew when I had a mentor or so bard singing and dancing and I really did not see that much of a difference.

Bards have a song and dance that allow them to give you ME. Their level relative to yours doesn't matter; they just have to know the song.

The power of the song goes up with level, of course.

Isn't energizer a spell? And couldn't you techniqually sell brewed potions of energizer in a shop?

I'm not suggesting that you should do it, becuase I'd rather see energizer be a spell a new class gets (like the mentalist) and it would make bard's value go down.

I'm just asking if it -can- be done using energizer.

Does a failed scribe hurt the scriber?

Yes. A failed scribe hits you with a fireball, a failed brew is acid, and a overcharged staff/wand/etc. chain lightnings you. Just FYI.

I still think a failed scribed fireball should affect the entire room like the spell does when a warlock casts it.

No, energizer is not a spell that is available for use in potions, scrolls, wands, staffs, or pills.
