ROFLMAO!

Puff, if I didn't know better I'd say I wrote your synopsis myself. Right. On. The. Money. And Algorab, stop doddling on the damn forums and get back to work on that area. Soon it will be 4 years in progress.

ROFL!!!

As an IMM (and part owner) of another MUD, you couldn't be more accurate and that's not even dealing with problem players. (It's so nice when they all decide to act like asses on the same day too)

I haven't been on SK that long but the little bit of interaction I've had with the Immortals (I try not to bother them) has been a great experience (although OOC) and while I've not had the chance to say it yet... here it goes.

Thanks to you all. Without you there wouldn't be an SK for us to enjoy. :D :drunk:

(It would do some people good to remember that )

There's a reason for accuracy...I grew up mudding with my parents.

My mom is one of the head Imms of another mud.

(I will be mean and say I LIKE THIS ONE BETTER! So glad Xmas is over so Santa can't spank me for that comment!)

I also know first hand what Immortals go through. And unfortunately, it is RARELY ever a skip in the park.

So to Dulrik, Algorab, and the CREW (past and present), you guys have done a fantastic job.

My biggest compliment is that you keep the IMMs mostly out of sight and out of mortals lives. (Also, that the immortals do not seem to need mortal values...Imms marrying other imms, imms marrying humans. Those just tend to complicate things and create horrid politics)

If anything I've learned, if you don't like something or some place, just leave. It is that simple. If the place falls apart without you, your ego is safe. If it survives, I guess reality might be able to set in that it doesn't revolve around you.

Immortals would be able to get done everything they needed if they didn't have players....

I usually get flack over my inconspicuous immortal policy. It's nice to see it recognized as a positive for once.

... not to change the subject too much....

Oh wait... thats already been done. :P

It is nice too, Dulrik, to occasionally to see an immortal or two... just to spice up the RP.

Thanx all.

w00t to puff :P

And to sleeper, yeah it can spice things up a bit. I have to admit some of my fondest moments have been with Immortal interaction.

Though it generaly left someone in a whole lot of pain... *grins evily*

I have to say that I am getting to like not having the IMMs visible so much. I used to hate that, but Ilike it now. I mean really, all you need is to have IMM backing on building- like new temples and such. Do not really need someone telling what to do or how to do it or show the slay command.

I love Shattered Kingdoms and will probably not leave until I get married and have kids.

Thank you all for the fun... we should petition congress to have a national IMMs day every year.

Since SK is short of imms at present, leaving some groups unsupported for a while might well make sense. But if that's the plan, it would be nice for those groups to be aware of their status. That would provide encouragement to make our own fun, instead of waiting for support that may not be available for several weeks.

It'd also be nice to have a name for things that truly require imm attention. Perhaps Zynor would be willing to grant forum accesses?
