Your best bet would be to either send Algorab a PM or perhaps a E-mail (Subject being SK) about joining the faith of Love.

You'll find the E-mail addy for Algorab by typing wizlist while on the mud.

Also, refer to HELP CONTACTS for a URL straight to the list of 'who looks after what' in the pantheon.

Can we get an updated list of the KD's please, due to the retirement of a couple Immortals.

You can...but how about giving us a few days to get things all sorted out first? With two imms stepping down at the same time, and with several imms gone on holidays, it's going to take us a bit to figure out who is going to be covering what once everyone comes back.

Heh, why not give algorab everything that needs to be picked up, it's not like she isn't already running 3/4 of the IC groups in the game :P

I'm kidding, by the way.

Gah!

Between the comedian here on the open forum, and the comedians who sent me PMs suggesting the same idea, maybe it's time that I retire.... See who gets stuck with everything then!

You can't do that. We'll chain you to your computer if we have to.
GET BACK TO WORK!
:P
Seriously, Thanx to all you do. Bummer we have to loose so many Imms so quickly.

Don't retire anytime soon, Algorab! You've really done a lot for, in, and out of the MUD. Keep up the good work, and hopefully it will all pay off if you aren't seeing results (which I hope you are!).

:drunk: *cheers to you and hats off*

DONT even put Algorab. And RETIRE in the same sentence. From what Ive seen I don't think SK could handle the shock. She seams to be as much the glue that hold the game together as Dulrik is the sticks that are its foundation.

On a more serious note though....

Why not promote quallity players with time and rp and even knowledge to some of them on building and such, into Angel and then Immortal possitions?

Are there no quallity players currently, worth being promoted?
I know Algorab does a HUGE effort and work for the mud, and I do know she is the glue that holds everything together pretty much aye...

But first of all one person cant do it all, She is only human after all.
Secondly, one person running 5 religions 3 cabals 1 tribunal and 5 areas, cannot respond to the demands those groups will have as a person solely responcible for a religions lets say would.

Perhasp lack of immortals is the reason the mud has somewhat deteriorated regarding global RP events, regarding reponces about building new thingies in the mud and such....

Is the playerbase so low in skill, that none are worth being promoted, even to the angel spot? I mean if you dont trust players to be made immortals, make a security level for builders (which already exists in most mud codes) and give them this: "You will only be a builder and not an immortal. Do you wish to accept the job responcibilities and all, with no guarantees you'll ever be imm? yes or no?"

Someone who might wanna offer could accept and even manage. And in due time you demote them back to nothing if they fail, promote them to Imms if they succeed with effort and all, or have them remain simple builders....

Just a thought/question...
