A blood dryad utters the words, 'grzzs'.
You feel very sleepy ..... zzzzzz.

You feel weaker.
You can't wake up!
You shiver and suffer.
You feel less tired.
You are already standing.

Is it just me, or did the poison wake me from sleep?

I'm fairly certain that the sleep spell cast from blood dryads only lasts about a tick, if that. Perhaps it was just a coincidence.

Actually I recently had an alt train on the dryads and was put to sleep for way more than just one tick. More like 4-5 IC hours or so. Of course our idea of how long a tick is could be different, but I base one tick to be the time from the percentage of your Hp/Me/Pe to be raised once.
IE:
Hp:67%
The comforts of the inn put you at ease
Hp:72%

As for the poison/sleep combo, I've been poisoned and sleeped at the same time. It never forced me awake :-?

I'm fairly certain that when I've slept while poisioned, I was awakened at each tick. Incidentally, the poison could also explain why PE didn't go up at the tick.

Edit: Never tried it while under magical sleep. Looks like the magical sleep wore off, though, and the poison was able to waken.

Dryads can definitely put you to sleep for more than a tick. I'm routinely be put to sleep for 4-5 ticks (measuring a tick as the time required for your HP/ME/PE to go up once), and on occasion, for a lot longer than that - on one occasion over half an hour of IRL time.

I suspect it's dependant on Wisdom or something, because in theory Sprites should be resistant to sleep spells.

Taking damage, any kind of damage, will awaken you from sleep, even if it's of the magic variety.

Edit: It's late and I'm tired, so this might not be correct.

From my observations, qwn is correct. Your PE likely didn't go up because you are poisoned.
Every time I've been poisoned, I woke up, and magical sleep is the same way.

Hope that made sense.

Not exactly myself today.
