Although not a true Client question there are short cuts like ` and ' for pemote and say. Is there a way to turn these off or using Cmud make it so they will do nothing. I use ` as my push to talk key for dealing with voice chat servers and its quite frustrating if I hit enter by mistake before I delete the line I end up with <char name>'s ```````````````` which is kind of average. I tried to make an alias of ` but it doesn't respond because `` does not trigger it. Any help or am I going to always run this risk. Yes I could change my push to talk button but 6 years of habit is hard to break. |

the alias thing might work but need to add a wildcard after the ` in the alias match. I don't use Cmud, but i gather Finney is kinda the multi-client expert around here? In Mushclient the matchline would be: `* and then have it do nothing. (Yes, I tested this) so that it would pick up the first ` and ANYthing that comes after (the * being an all-character all-count wildcard). Thus picking up `````````````` as a match (the first ` and anything following it). If you can do something similar in Cmud, that might work? |

I couldnt get the alias to work in Cmud ``` still triggers pemote so poking around I made a macro of ` to do nothing so now I cant type ` in Cmud hopefully Ill never need it or I will remember it if I do. |
