Thought I'd mention it can be done! Using Wine Bottler, I was able to convert the installer to a standalone redistributable. It should only require an intel based Mac with Quartz installed. It installed, let me put in my registration code, and was able to be added to my launchpad with no problems!

If there is any interest, I can make the installer available. Mainly just wanted to say it can be done :D

Sorry the delay getting back to you on this, guess I didn't hit submit when I thought I did. Oopsie.

Turns out it isn't so easy to share my bottled version, but it is pretty simple. I'll post some instructions. I did this on my MacBook Air running OSX version OS X 10.8.3

1. Download and install WineBottler (version 1.2.5 at time of this post, installs Wine too) from here: http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK

2. Download zMud/cMud from here (zmud721.exe at time of this post) http://forums.zuggsoft.com/index.php?pa ... on=viewall" target="_BLANK" target="_BLANK

3. Open WineBottler.
- Click "Create Custom Prefix".
- Where it says "Install File" select your zMud/cMud installer exe file.
- Under "Advanced Options" I chose to check "Self-contained", not sure if it matters, but it worked (and still does) for me.
- Click "Install". Save As "zMUD" or whatever name you want for the app.

4. The zMud installer will launch. Follow the installer as if installing in windows. When the install is done, exit zMud and WineBottler will ask you to "Select Startfile". Choose "Zmud.exe".

5. Place zMUD.app wherever you like it. If you place it in the Applications folder, it will become visible in Launchpad!

Only issue I have noticed is it doesn't seem to like sound (system beep works) and has a drawing issue over the menu bar. Buttons all work fine and no other issues have come up for me! Logging works too. Application files, zmud scripts, etc, can be found in your home folder under "Wine Files->drive_c->[install path]".

Hope someone else finds this as useful as I am! Now time to get geared up for the upcoming Bonanza using the Mac installed zMud! :D

EDIT: I should add this requires XQuartz to be installed. I believe that can be done through the App Store.
