So, I've noticed sometimes when putting in descriptions in the editor, if a line is too long I'll get the 'Line too long" message. Other times It'll buffer it and go > > > > > > > > > > and input it all and I can just copy / paste / format descriptions quickly. Does anyone know what causes MushClient to do this? Is it a toggle option I'm missing or something? Thanks in advance |

Unfortunately, you're just going to have to copy and paste four-five lines at a time. |

Shaman lady is right, I used mushclient for the longest while before I went to Cmud, you just have to copy four to five lines, ".f", and ctrl-c+ctrl-z and so on until you have your editing done. Just wait till you feel creative and do a massive color/written desc and have to edit fourty million times because your line can't exceed more than just a several sentences. |

Enter each sentence one at a time, then hit .f |

use "paste to world" instead SHIFT-CTRL-V or click the edit menubar This is also what lets you copy the output from the identify spell and quickly paste (say) it. Paste to World automatically breaks up what you've copied and pastes it to the world with or without prefacing characters... one line at a time. Settings --> Game-Configure-Paste to World. |

Wait a sec... would that work with telling people the lore of an item too? When somone asks my character for a lore, they hand it over, I type lore, then either tell them there's no story, or I copy and paste it into my little typing box, hit the END button, hit delete, hit spacebar, and do the same with all the ends of the lines. (if I were to just copy & paste, but stick a 'say' in front of it, it would say the first line, but nothing else. Would .f save me and everyone my character lores for a lot of time and trouble?) |

.f only works in description editors, note writing, etc. |

Sounds like you want to use the Paste to World feature stratford mentioned. |
