the Void Wall carried by a shadow of the void.

This item crumbled shortly after being acquired, rendering it useless unless fixed to not do that.

I'm probably wrong, but there is a chance that this item is specific to a faith, race, class, or alignment.
But I have also seen equipment, mainly a certain greater reflex trinket, that crumbles relatively quickly. It would be nice to know why they would crumble, if it is more of a feature vs a bug.

I knew a resistant barbarian who used that thing for a while. Don't know what to say.

It's a bug with shields generally (Ephialtis' shield has the same issue)

Maybe some genius decided shields from Boss NPCs should crumble so that they don't get easier when they spawn without their shield.

The infernal halberd and the scourge from the Iron Citadel just crumbled. It appears that fixing shields caused weapons to crumble instead.

No idea about shields, but any weapon disarmed from an NPC during a fight crumbles shortly after now.

This is not a new issue but perhaps more noticeable once shields were fixed. Will have this fixed in the next update.
