Blowing snow clings to your body as you shield your face against the
icy onslaught. There is little to see out on the icy plane, and
whatever is lurking here is likely camouflaged anyhow. The wind howls
and roars at your presence, and buffets you unceasingly.
It's snowing lightly, well past freezing, and very, very windy.

Infinitely reproduceable. Depetrification hits the first statue in the room no matter what you target. Does it do the same if both are PCs? I only recall running into this problem with this specific room, but it's likely that I just never had to consider depetrifying two different PCs in the same room.

Potentially not with PCs. Definitely with NPCs everywhere.

I can't say I'm very surprised. It might work more accurately for PCs but I can't say for sure. The reality is that it doesn't matter 99.9% of the time and it's (not) been prioritized for fixing based on that fact.

From what I have seen, it is exact opposite cases for NPC and PC in regards to depetrification. On players you target them by name, trying to depetrify the 'statue' as the target will do nothing. On NPCs you can not target by name, the 'statue' is the correct target in this case.
