Quote:
A fire elemental is burned to a cinder by your intensely hot fireball!
A fire elemental is DEAD!!
You hear a fire elemental's death cry.
One of your members has left the party.
A fire elemental's body dissolves into a shower of sparks.

Happened several times in a row in a single fight, like he just lost
resistance to it all of a sudden.

Fireballs should heal fire elementals.

It's because you leveled up and still had an elemental of a previous level.

Elemental levels are based off of your current level?
Does your skill level affect its strength? Or is that just your ability to successfully cast?

Elementals are not immune to fire above their level.

They should be healed regardless of level, like undead and negative energy.

But then you can't have things like in Naruto where fire burns away fire.
