Post subject:  Weapon speed enchantments don't stack with haste enhancement
Is this on purpose? Seems like for a max dex character there's actually no benefit at all to haste if your weapon has 5+ speed enchantments? Khopesh has 5 speed, glaive has 6 speed, for reference. First affect shot is with no weapon wielded.

There was a bug identified with speed enhancements. you're just going way too high with the speed. They do stack, but if the speed enhancement on a weapon is greater than haste, it knocks it out.

Why not just make haste a "haste" bonus to weapon speed, dex, and peak dex rather than an "enhancement"?

It's always been spotty. Last time I contributed to a thread about this I mentioned how sometimes the bonus from haste would show up, then after a reboot it wouldn't, then it would for two, then it wouldn't again, etc.

If it's actually an enhancement bonus, then the intent is that it not stack. So if it is sometimes stacking, then that would be a bug. However, I'm not certain it is actually an enhancement bonus. It's been long enough that I need to go back and examine the code.

this is an example as i understand it. Lets say six speed runes gets you four swings. If you put six, you get your swings but you won't get a fifth because its as fast as it will go. But if you have three runes and get three swings, then you add haste, you'll still get the fourth swing.
Its all about max speed?

What am I talking about? I don't understand mechanics.
