I don't know if it was the flask I was using or what, but no matter what flask I've ever tried it with I have never been able to succeed in planting it for I wanted to get someone out of a group before by planting a flask and persuading them to use it and that was the message I got.

Hell, if its PK and the its already hit the fan, alias it out and dont even bother planting it on em, just give it to em! If its aliased, they wont have time to do crap.
make an alias like :

"give flask &*;persuade &* quaff flask"

may get you around the fact that your trying to plant cursed flasks.
