World Map - Missing Islands

I’ve been looking at the world map on the site’s main page.
I was wondering if there was a reason why the islands to the East are cut off.
Did we ever have a full world map? Have the islands east of the Empire always been cut off?
Is this a bug from when we changed the SK homepage?
Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

This appears to be a bug related to the transition to the new site. The full map image should still be available for Google to parse. We still aren't quite sure why it is happening, but will keep trying to figure it out.

I think about 7 or 8 years ago a few people went around and mapped....like everything. Made it all out like the map is when you're exploring around. Don't remember who, but I definitely bumped into them all over the place as they were mapping. They even took a group out to the Infernal Wastelands to map, on up to each of the planes and beyond I'm sure. Don't know what ever came of it, but yeah if someone could map those places again and make it something that we could reference in-game, that would be wicked.

I like the idea. Especially for places where we have our mini-map. But I also think that learning paths is part of the fun.
No need to take a place like lower morea and map it out, as useful as it would be. But somewhere like the dreamscape or the Plane of Air? I’d love to have other google map api maps for those sorts of areas.

Could you post a link to the old page? Do you have that old code archived somewhere?
Are we able to access this in some other way, directly from Google? Anything like that?

I'm afraid not. I am not much of a web programmer myself. At best this will be fixed sometime in the long-term.
