What is the current status of using the forums to set up time for people to get on and make group runs? I mean it's an OOC set up, so I am not sure where or how to go about it.

Ideas may be more outlandish and detailed then expressed.

I'd say post a note on an astreal board and then also post it on the forums.
That way you could say they found out IC while also making sure they know ooc.

An SK mailman would be awesome though. As soon as you log in, you get a tell from the mailman and you stop by to pick up your mail.

I've gotten in trouble for posting on an astral board and then posting on the forums, even in a tribunal forum. I still think it's a great idea, but would be good to know what exactly is above board in this context. I personally don't see the harm in posting on the astral boards and posting the same thing on an OOC board that's designed to coordinate/encourage people to play together.

As I recall there was some talk of creating forum interaction with the astral board a while ago.

My advise is do similarly to the announcement thread as far as RPs post the details on the astral board post a teaser with a date/time to get people to go read the astral board on the forums. That way IC info is kept in game OOC info is posted on the Forums the only thing that isnt something encouraging someone to go read the notice board.
