I was hoping to either a) have a hero competition run for priests before Baba croaks or b) just open it up for duels or something to pass on the title if we're not doing competitions anymore. Who would be the right immortal to contact about this? The hero forums is pretty much dead and buried and I think Archie may be on hiaitus at the moment. Thx pudgy |

New job. New girlfriend. Real life intervenes. For the first time ever! I've taken a longer break than I have taken in ten years. Poor SK! I don't have a solid answer for you right now. |

Private inquiry would perhaps be best, don't you think? Why do people like to drag drama into the spotlight here? |

I'd venture to guess it's just something to do for most. |

You know... Hero Tournaments are interesting but a lot of people complain about their execution and validity of certain Heroes. It also seems to be a pain for the Immortal organizers to pull off. I'm sure it has been asked before, maybe I missed the answer, but what happened to just selecting Heroes like we used to back in the day? He who reaches GM and is ready to advance to 51 through enlightens and writes a proper bio gets the title? It seems less of a hassle than making a tournament and a bit more believable than making a griffon and level him in 30 hours just to win said tournament. |

There are several threads devoted on how to choose a hero throughout the forums... but I kind of think the tournaments are fun. Grep has ideas (as usual) but not sure that he actually would try to help anyone implement then (as usual) or even if he did, if they'd listen to him (as usual.) Maybe someone else needs to be in charge of the tournaments? Do we have an active IMM? |

See, this is why you and I don't get along. I'm friends with Achernar. Apparently better friends than you, because I already know the answer to this. Because YOU have a facebook connection with him doesn't mean that everyone does. Because YOU have a question about his relationship doesn't mean that it's appropriate to ask in public. Perhaps he added you as a friend on Facebook because he wanted to be connected to you. That's probable, actually. So YOU are privy to the information there. If he's made the choice not to have a connection or share his personal information with someone here, you've now disrespected his privacy and his wishes by running your fat [REDACTED] mouth about his PRIVATE life on a PUBLIC forum. |
