New Players Need Help

Two new players named Leeland, a priest seeking Zavijah, and a paladin named Radja seeking Ain are in need of immortal assistance, neither faith has an active or even has a HF at the time, and I can't really help them, so if any immortal that can help them spots them on, it'd be great if you can help them!

Apperently they die around every corner, and from a locate on corpses, they seem to, so if anyone else reads this, and you think you can help them, do it or I keel j00. <3

Bobbie, have them AIM me and I'll spend some time with them on Ghent if I remember to do so.

I haven't been able to play this past week due to the start of work, but I was playing actively the week before and spoke with radja. Neither one of us saw the HF online or even a member of the scale. Frustrating.

You should probably try an IC approach first (even if it was started from an OOC post here) rather than going straight to AIM.

Well if they are having serious OOC issues that would require me typing reply ooc: a dozen times, I would prefert to do that in an AIM/YIM window instead of on my mud client. If they got me on AIM and was like, "hookmeupkplzthnx," then they get warned, and if it continues they get blocked.

And yes I have more than an inkling of how I will grant them help, and not just 'hook ups'. Have a little faith buddy, and don't just slam people on the forums because it's easy. The big thing I was thinking was more of a sit down talk Q&A session about the different kingdoms and whatnot. Not, "Where is da lewt!?"

I wasn't slamming you, I was sarcastically asking for help :oops:

How in the world will I ever level without hookups??? Especially when I don't log in? The horror. Sheesh, people flame you so often now that even when some people don't you still think it's a flame.

I can't think of all that many things you'll have to respond to OOCly besides commands. Radja's speech pattern and RP seemed fine to me in the short conversation we had. Peso must know something OOCly about him that I don't to know that he's a noob. It's certainly not superficially obvious. As for dying, I managed to die 6 times in 20 hours (thanks garath), and I'm not sure all that many people will let me call myself a noob anymore.

From what I saw of Radja, what he needed was an IC mentor and not an AIM conversation.
