Yesterday, I came across this character who was New to Pyrathia, I don't know if it's real or whatever, but he asked a bunch of questions, said he was doing description and stuff. He then asked me where to find other people, so I said the inn, then he went to the inn, said is this it? Why isn't anyone here? He said that he's waited for ages. I felt pretty ashamed. I didn't really know how to respond to that. I know that darkies have been careful not to gank non-PvP characters, but anyone who is in a cabal/tribunal or being in a group of one is marked and that pretty much takes them out of the inn.
Today, when a bunch of lighties were on, and needed some peace and quiet for enchanting/brewing when darkies were on too, where do they go? Naturally not the inn. Why would they? Who would want to sleep and get killed? How do all these newbies (both game or character) meet anyone? I don't know.
Minette, I love you to death, but I assure you that this is definitely a problem only the current batch of (pansy) lighties have. I spend a lot of time in the inns, and so do other darkies. And you can STILL gate right INTO the [REDACTED] Moot's inn.
Most SKers won't engage in PvP without 5 other players on their team, so they obviously don't feel safe in an inn. Despite the fact that it's pretty hard to die if you're behind a pet and plan to quaff/flee at the first sign of trouble, as any class.
Inns are plenty safe. Bounty NPCs are still a pain in the [REDACTED]. Most of the players are just too scared.
As for the voodoos, there were about 7, if not more lighties on. You guys could have easily gated to me. But again. Too scared.
