Background:
Charlye was born in a small city outside of Teron. She grew up the only girl in her family and was spoiled, though she knew it was hard on her family. Getting into trouble was her way, rock fights, throwing bird dung from the tree onto people walking by.. she did it all.

Once she turned of age, her Mother wanted her out of the house and to start her path with Lady Sadal in Teron. Charyle would have nothing to do with it. Defiance towards her mother was clear, and her dad, supported Charlye as much as possible. A tragedy took her mother, she fell ill suddenly and died within a day. Charlye was frought with sadness and her father, fearing more retribution from Sadal, kicked the little firey haired woman out.

She wandered, moving from home to home from her friends, and each time she went to a house, luck would follow and then.. disaster. Sadal was following her, and letting her know just where exactly she needed to be. Returning home to see her dad, he once again kicked her tush directly to Teron for her to begin her life. And she did.

She ran into Lunk and shared her story and she was invested quickly. Training alone, Charlye had a lot of time to reflect and determine that if she was gonna be a Priestess, she would do her damnest. Then she met Verek and another, and thought they were friends. Until one day in Teron Verek and a little gnome attacked her for her eyewashers. That did it. She vowed to not return to Teron unless absolutely necessary.

She trained alone, meeting people here and there, but never brought anyone close enough for her to actually care about, for fear of Sadal taking that from her too. But alas, she made a few friends. Aedarus, Jaeyd and Sothnew.. all men.. all kept boundaries with her. Charlye wasn't one to touch others unless absolutely necessary, and showing affection...woooheeeee... that was rare. But not to the three she considered true friends but that is all they would ever be. She had a deep fear of any kind of intimacy, anything that hinted at more than friendship and she would isolate herself from them. **I created her for RP, not romantic RP**

Thanks to Aedarus, Jaeyd, Sothnew and Cornelius (for being a pain)... she was mostly a loner and rezzed most anyone and helped most anyone if they didn't insult her or do her wrong. Oh! And Dago for dragging her around for a time doing quests - was good, even though she did drown.

I came here to play - after Tiala and Xylia I cooked up a greybie. I am use to full consent places - so I have to change my mind frame when I log on here. To kill who I wished, to RP as I wished, and to see how others also RP - and to learn more about the game. Most don't seem to grasp that... that this place is non-consent. You don't need permission to RP with someone, or PK someone, or to speak to someone, or to post logs about people who RP with you - much like the other place I play. People need to keep that on their radar. Period. What you do, can and will be used against you, on all levels... to think that it won't is silly and foolish. Your actions are your actions. Your fingers do the typing, your brain the thinking and expressing.. keep in mind what you put out there. You have control of your char...there is no take backs.

OOC banter, well.... that shouldn't be done in the game. Sure, people chat on messengers, that can't be helped. People form alliances, people form friendships in a weird way.. to the two that I spoke to, thank you for helping me locate things and chat it up about useless stuff (you know who you are).

I did enjoy Charlye, don't get me wrong, but the OOC headaches that came along recently, just aren't worth it. I came here to enjoy a char I cooked up..... So, when you are constantly quieting your mind, or avoiding certain places to avoid people IC and OOC.. where is the fun in that? It isn't. It wasn't. So, with that I am leaving.

Boo, my surprises are never any fun. Now my poor guy's friendless. Nothing for it for him but to get drunk, mope and pine away and be generally irked at Pyrathia for a while--and try to figure out what happened, since he still doesn't get it and the only person he might have thought to ask is gone.

Thanks for all of the help and especially for the RP--even very early on--though. I think Charlye was the first person to have more than two words to say to my character. Oh, and thanks also for helping show me around. I really appreciate it.

I really enjoyed my interactions with this character, though I didn't see a huge amount of her since I haven't been playing much recently. Sorry for getting you drowned that time.

Awww, bummer. I liked having her in the fold. Oh well, I guess if you weren't having fun with her, that defeats the purpose of playing SK using her.

I really enjoyed the charater interactions with Sothnew. Sothnew felt a good friend maybe more if I stuck with him....but apparently not. :D But I hope u keep on havin fun,
