Yes, she's gone. I deleted a couple weeks ago and didn't get around to posting it. I didn't get her stats, but everything was max with the exception of a few spells.

Myranda's first memory is waking up in a bed in Sith'a'neil. She was told that she was found wandering the forests in the unclaimed territory Fort Tethos. It was assumed she was from a burned down farm house. She lived with a deep seeded dread of what happened. Since nobody had come forward and took credit or was found out for what happened, she assumed she might be responsible. She would often brood about what had happened which would lead the academy teachers to think she might be tainted in some way, as how else would such dark thoughts enter a child of light.

She lead her life fairly care free. She assumed if anything bad happened to her, that she deserved it for what she thought she did. This lead her to associate with the more undesireble crowd in Teron, where they named her their token elf. Even though she never directly hurt anyone, if someone was hurt, she would tend to blame herself. This self blame made her obsessively protective of her friends, often taking her death over seeing them get involved in whatever problem she was having. She also had little care if she was killed or not. Often she was seen in places where deep-elves frequent, without pet or protection. She would also accept even the most dangerous expeditions without hesitation.

She attracted the attention of a deep-elven sorceress, who, for some unknown reason, wanted her for a pet. This complicated her life greatly since this deep-elf used threats of torture of her friends. It was only with encouragement from her friends and her mentor that she put up a resistance. The deep-elf however was relentless in her constant mental and physical assault. Myranda found few people to turn to for help other than advice and wishes of luck. Feeling alone in her battle and worn out from the endless attacks and the time in jail she served for defending herself, she was ready to give in. Then the deep-elf vanished.

It took her several years, but she returned to her old self, seeking the mystery of her past. Prior to the deep-elf vanishing, she learned a clue to her haunted past that only gave her more questions. With the help of a monk sorcerer, and the goddess Mira restored a memory of how her parents died. It had happened at the very young age of 6. Deep-elves had raided her family home and killed her parents. She remembered she had been hidden away. She wondered what had happened the 90 years after that day. A couple years after her deep-elf tormentor vanished, she resumed her quest to find the truth.

Such is the end of her story. I felt like maybe I dragged on some of her drama a little too much and people lost interest. Anyways, I saw very little potential for more RP with her so I deleted. A little later I learned I might have been a little premature. Live and learn. :-?

Myranda, and you, her player, helped show me how much freedom there is for characterization within the game world just at a time when I was starting to feel a little boxed in by this and that.

Well done, and good luck on your current! ;)

It sucks that we didn't get to interact more when I had Aise. I hope you come back with another, your characters are great from what I have seen.

I loved Myranda. What a fresh approach for playing an elf. Lots of memories with her and Faerti. GL on your current, and next.

Myranda was great. I remember her kitten fund. I will miss her. She was a great char to rp with. A real elven sorceress, very much alive to me. You did a good job and I for one am glad that you are still around.

Alot of vets have jumped ship these last few months, some very good players are done, at least for the short term.
