*** Long Story ***
Xorvithien was a curious fellow. Without knowing you, he'd rush up and hug you if he saw you, no matter how much you hated it. You could, perhaps, say that he did this just because you didn't like it, or perhaps it was his overly good nature that was in him. His demeanor was always exuberant and he'd always speak quickly, as if he had so much to say he didn't have enough time to get it all in. But what may be more fascinating, isn't what he was like, but his story on how he got there.
Xorvithien started off a quiet life. Born in the snowy wastelands of the North, he grew up with his two younger brothers. His parents were nomads, traveling around and following the yeti as best they could. He wasn't like his father. His dad, far more serious than anyone else, kept a strict house. But when his dad wasn't paying attention, Xorvithien was allowed, by his mother, to play with his brothers and act however he pleased. Once he turned seventeen, he made his way out and started studying. Since his abilities were nothing like a nomad, he soon found his way into the clerical profession, followed closely by his two brothers. His first brother (who's name I forget) died shortly after enrolling, but his second brother - the one he played more with - stuck around for many years. They had many great times, even instigating one another into a fight in front of Achernar himself.
But, while Xorvithien and his brothers grew up and continued their studies, there were quite a few issues that arose, which drastically altered the course of his life. His first, "love", was a little halfling necromancer. Her goal was to join the Miran faith as well, but because of her profession, this was not possible. He pleaded and argued, but was never able to succeed. She took a different course he never saw her soon afterwards. The happy-go-lucky Xorvithien, who never thought there was a mean person ever, soon realized that not everything is as nice as it might seem. That lesson, however, would be frequently re-learned.
His kindness was expressed to all. He'd dry people's feet off whenever they asked, helped as often as they could. Hugged as many as he could - even the gods. But two things happened after time. The first, he attempted to hug the Lord of Fear, who after a short talk cursed him and temporarily destroyed his spirit. The second, with the exception of a small handful of people, he began to realize that people would often use him for what they wanted, and hurt him when it was easy for them. The never ending reminder, of one person after another using him, eventually began the tear him down, even though it caused him to become the person he hated.
That is not to say, however, that his life was all sad. In his early fourties, he met and then married a lady by the name of Asraya. They two were happy together, until she broke his trust. It wasn't until later in his life did he realize how drastically he overreacted when he broke off with her, but he did what he thought was right, and settled down with someone who he thought would make him happy. The lady, Tariel was her name, gave him what he wanted - even though it was far from what they needed. They were not perfectly happy, and had a few conflicts before she finally passed on, leaving him alone again. And there, after he had lived much of his life, did he realize the person he should've married long before, was waiting for him. Aise, a rather enviable lady during her life, was much to be desired. She was fierce and kind, and the perfect match for Xorvithien. She was the person he should've married all along, but never did. Not until many years had gone bye. By then, it was too late for her to save him from what he had become.
You see, Xorvithien was a rather selfish person. At least, he became selfish. During his first marriage, he fell to a beautiful succubus. She taught him what how much fun it could be to be selfish - not only with his Magic, but with his lust. And so began a downward spiral. I shall save the details, for they are not important, but eventually he began to cheat, and nearly broke his marriage. (Editors note: Based off everything that happened during his life, and based off the comment I made in the opening post to this thread, I would hope you can understand why I lead him down the road of debauchery. I'm not proud of it, but I did attempt to make it public so that it would get exposed. I'm glad it did, even if it was as hugely public as it was...) He was saved, but not without a price. The price was much of his life. He would be cursed to spend the rest of his days almost always alone, a fate a bit too much for him.
All in all, the road of Xorvithien is long. I know I didn't do it complete justice with this, but I tried to get the basic idea.

PS: I left out the Court on accident, and I'm too tired to go back now. If there's a big enough cry, I'll write something small about that too...
PPS: Forgive the grammar and spelling errors. I wrote this way too late in the evening...
