A huge black furred bulls head rests on the top of this mans body.

Portuding from the sides of that mammoth head aretwin ivory horns that curve

out from each side of the mans head. He has no brow or hair per say, though

his entire head is covered in short, course, black fur. His eyes are a

deep red in color and below them starts his bovine snout, which is capped by

a big black nose. His body is strong and muscular, his shoulders are burly,

his neck thick enough to support his massive head. His limbs are brawny,

and his strong legs are equal to the rest of him. His legs taper off to a

pair of hooves, instead of feet.

Bovereen is deleted. Basically because I have no internet. I am at my dad's house right now. The entire time I have had Bovereen, I have had no internet, I played him off an internet connection I latched onto with bluetooth. So, Bovereen wasn't all I hoped he would be. The three times I was pked I was totally link dead.

People wouldn't play with bovereen because he would go link dead for five minutes at a time. He would wander off if hit. He was useless. And rightly so. If it wasn't skinning Bovereen wasn't wanted. I blame no one for that. I wouldn't have had anything to do with Bovereen and his bad connection if it weren't me playing him. In a crunch I wouldn't have trusted Bovereen if I were someone else. What finally killed him was the people in my apt building that I was leeching wireless internet off either got a land line or moved away.

I am quitting SK for a number of reasons as a player too. First and foremost is I now live in poverty. All that money I bragged about in 2007 is gone. The global recession has hit me with a crit cleave. I have been booted out of my apt, I owe so much money I can't see the end of my debt, and there's a huge amount of comptetion for work. I can't really spend money on the internet right now.

To me Bovereen was a huge disapointment. My bad internet ruined the character. The introduction of the crucible cost us people, I never was able to get myself past the building of the Hand and the planning stage. By planning stage I mean stuff I was doing as a builder that Achernar said he'd put in the game.

I was constantly sending him logs and doing stuff inside of the wastes to prepare for what I wanted to do outside of the wastes. THere was so much I wanted from Bovereen I just couldn't deliver it because of my internet situation.

My hat goes off to Achernar. He is one of the most cooperative, able, immortals this mud has ever had. He is one of the best.

I would also like to thank Dulrik, for the game, all the people who played with and against me, and my internet friends on YIM, they know who I mean. I hope I can come back but maybe by the time things change I won't be interested anymore.

SK is the best mud ever.

I am really sorry about your debt problems. For what it's worth, when I met Bovereen, I liked him. What an amazing name for a minotaur. And I was so glad someone decided to go Black Hand instead of Crucible.

I truly hope that your situation improves as soon as possible, it sucks to be in that kind of situation.

I'll agree that Bovereen sucked as far as reliability was concerned, given the crappy internet connection. However, I wouldn't say that he was a failure of a character, he had some good RP going on, something new and refreshing as far as the whole minotaur culture was concerned. He was excellently played, in the RP department.

Prayers and best wishes to the player. This bad thing is hitting everyone, everywhere, at so many different levels. Stay close to friends and family. The net is still a doorway to keeping communications (and helping with the job hunt) so perhaps when some of the dust settles, you'll be about at least in some fashion. My student loans aren't looking any prettier on deferral either.

It was a privilege playing with you in the past. I had no real connection with this last character and that is a shame.

Aw, I liked Bovereen and was looking forward to playing with him this summer. Good luck with life, I hope things look up for you.

I really liked the hand and I was resisting this idea for a long time. It was either ask Achernar to remove the leader flag and try and pop in every now and then or just let the character go, which seemed the best way to go.

Yea thanks, this global recession is the hardest thing I've ever faced in my life. I'll be fine by this time next year I'm sure though.
