Not sure exactly what suggestions you're looking for, but I'll throw a few out that I think are along the same vein.
The classes where RP is really easy to get into are support classes. Priests, sorcerors, shamans, bards, and a few others (to varying degrees). None of the four classes mentioned are that hard to level, and if you are lucky, you'll run into a character or two that's completely willing to deck you out and get you started. It'll make the grinding a lot simpler. When you don't want to grind, sit in an inn and relax. It's not usually too long before people come to rest or whatever. And after you level a bit, you can move around more easily, and try a few inns, one of which is almost always busy.
And once you've leveled and start meeting people, usually you'll group up for PvE adventures that help explore and learn the game.
