I didn't get necromancers wimped severely as I would like, but I decided that after fully achieving what I set out for in Olian's roleplay that it was time to finish things up. On the mechanics side - I was able to learn the strengths and weaknesses of a class I had never played, I was able to explore many areas I had never truly fully gotten through, and I had a lot of fun. If you want to see any of the pk logs of me as Olian you can check [REDACTED] and search for 'ZhangWar', which is a tag in all of my logs.

Olian was a pk-intensive character to say the least, but I also roleplayed with him a lot and I think his concept was succinct and had an impact on the mud in the short time I played him.

I really enjoyed the RP and the PK with this character. It was great to be on your side and raid HQ's like it was nothing. Good luck with your next character.

Not a bad character, a little bit of trouble with his war tying into the Death religion, but overall we were all able to sort it out. Hopefully you'll come back with another good character.


PS: I wanted to rip out his vocal chords. His voice drove me insane... :P

Solid character. I'd recommend you ease up on the jlooting a bit, but otherwise I didn't see anything I disliked.

One of the badest necros I can remember in a long time. The great thing was he wasnt all about PK it was alot of RP with Olian and yes I HATED your voice. He helped turn MC around as we were starting to rebuild from a bad past but also has kept the ball rolling for us as well, 4 requests for entrance today. I look forward to running into your future characters only because I know they will be extremely well played. You will be missed...

Props for the raids. They were quite impressive. What I don't understand is that you don't roll a character for the roleplay that you want to make but to emphasize on the vulnerabilities/strengths of a class/cabal. While I'm one of the few that liked Olian's style of talking, I always had in the back of my mind that he was a character that was used to prove something ooc. Either it was that the hqs are not safe, or how op the class is or anything else that you wanted to prove. This alone ruins the nice atmosphere that your characters can create.

PK wise he was great. I do have an issue with necromancers on the MC though, given the story of the cabal. But I guess nobody pays attention to such "details" anymore. *shrugs*

Olian was definately an asset to any HQ raid. The way he spoke made me think he was a moron, or just didnt want to waste time talking so simplified every thing he said.

Yawn, does the story of the cabal also include getting raped daily and being only mediocre minds of the Empire and never wearing their midnight plate?
