Well, the broken-nosed female half-elf went home to help the family farm - demons running around loose and all.
I deleted her for many reasons. She started out as an alt, and while she had wonderfully fun moments, she never quite lost that alt feeling for me. Too much of the time she was rather half-hearted. I was too wound up in how paladins "should" be. I tried to have her never say anything she wasn't certain was true without modifying it - I used to call her my 'hedge' knight. I joined the Hammer to try to put some life back in her, but it didn't last for long. My heart just wasn't in her.
I have many thanks! The Truth faith through the ups and downs, the Hammer, which was more fun without the relic than with it (always had something to do), everyone I had an encounter with that wasn't "Kill paladin, junk loot paladin, smirk, leave" has my gratitude. More specifically, to Vaerta, who wouldn't let her get away with her quick temper and for all the great faith RP, to Liya, for always wringing laughter from the stiff-necked paladin, to Preidar, for his guidance and the fun times, to Pilcestor, for showing me what fun a paladin can be and loosening Alynwen up considerably, to Yaubl, for his patience with a slow-as-dirt squire, to Guildus, for being a wonderful squire (even if you did disappear), to whoever the Immortal was who ran the Knight Tourney (I was terrified, but it was a blast, even if we never managed the follow-up RP), to Slayne, for confusing a very young paladin, Arsilan, for the early guidance and ready eq supply ... I'm going to leave out so many, and the list is already long. Apologies to whomever didn't get listed specifically that should have...I had her for a long time with rather few hours.
