First Severin was a female elf priestess os Yizashi, the one now is a male gnome priest of Mira.

I used to like seeing new gods, but i think it was made static because that used to conflict and screw with peoples RP and such.

I thought it was so that Shattered Kingdoms LLC could better maintain it's intellectual property rights on its fictional world.

The gods are named after stars, not really their property. Even the titles for most. Like Achernar, end of the river, is a star called the same thing. Sargas is a star i think called the smiter or bear or part of some constellation. So not really their Property, except for the personas and history and such.
