I don't think I rp'd much with you at all, but I know where you're coming from to be honest. I'll juts leave it at that and won't go into details.

Despite all the crap, it can still be a fun game. I hope to see you back sometime. Take it easy man.

I agree.
SK has changed alot and the imms have really done their part in having the game work to the interest of the majority of the playberbase.
Only thing lacking is the players doing their part in making the game enjoyable for everyone.

I fail to see the justification of mass pk'ing. If this Eulariel is so powerful why would you say anything deragatory about her and not expect to be punished? But over and over? I just wonder if there is anything that can be put into code to prevent this?

Coming from someone who's been PK'd into deletion (literally) I can sympathize with the whole spam killing thing. However, it partly depends on what you say and do. Ealuriel's player is pretty good at Pk'ing people, so making her (the character) angry isn't favorable to your character's health. Generally, most people will stop if you actually do give up / surrender. Notice I said most people. It largely goes to how you act. If you act like an idiot and go "ZOMG i keel j00!" etc, then yeah, you're gonna get eaten alive repeatedly until it sinks in.

Ealuriel isn't really a bad person and generally lays off if you ask. However, if you ask, and then go and cast cancellation / remove compulsion on that char's NPCs and cause them to attack her, I can see how that can be considered aggressive actions. You reap what you sow, so to speak. If you flaunt your ego, chances are, someone will put it to the test. That's just how things work.

I'd like to say this, though: You were hanging out with Azauri at the time of your frustration, who is played by Adroan... and although I can't speak specifically about Azauri and still hold out on hope for Adroan, his characters in the past have all had a very poor sense of distinction between IC and OOC. I'm not surprised that you managed to get spam killed by another PC in his company, especially considering that he's a marfik priest. To sum up: If you play a character who's going to aggravate others (especially crazy deep-elves) then you had better be willing to accept the consequences, and they aren't always going to be pretty. It's never a bad idea to lay low if you [REDACTED] of a sorceror and get killed, which is a stark contrast to trying to cast remove compulsion on their charm (Which can very easily end up in a bash and death for the charmer)

Not to be a peck but dude you have no clue of any of the rp or lack of rp that went on during this time. I only jumped in to Rescue Trag because Trag was a mentor to my guy. :/ I got myself killed three times to help him out and we failed. :/

You must have missed the next paragraph.

When it comes down to it, I've got no idea of what specifically happened in this case, but I've got a strong feeling that all the parties involved could have done things better: It just so happens that the player on the losing side wasn't used to losing and rage deleted instead of thinking on what he might have done better.

And Trag, yes, you did jloot Mezcao after he asked you if you were going to at least leave his things: I remember the log. I'm not saying that you're a "horrible player," I'm saying that sometimes people make mistakes and go over the line. And sometimes people don't realize that casting remove compulsion is one of the most hostile spells possible to a sorceror.

Can't blame you on the time issue though: This game does take a long time to play, moreso with the declining pbase. Will you still at least vote?

Absolutely. Even at its worst state, shatteredkingdoms the game was always enjoyable. There is still a majority of the playerbase that cares and makes this game fun. Unfortunetly, it takes only a few rotten apples to spoil the lot.

For now I will return to my hiatus from the game. I won't say I will never return, because they always come back. But I am not making promises either.
