You had over four rounds to run out of the room before those spiders killed your [REDACTED]. Pardon me if I feel absolutely no pity for you getting killed by a handful of [REDACTED] NPCs.

This game would be absolutely stupid if every death was responded to with a voodoo or a final strike. It's unreasonable to avoid creating conflict in the game for fear of these spells, or to expect others to fear you because you have an i-win button.

A gnome sorc with no pet half health and no warning but a short conversation between ealuriel and brock that he didnt understand because he just arrived in the room. Not exactly fair, bashed first hit and by the time he regained his feet he was dead

Anyone remember when a sorc could use a certain cabal spell to be immune to FS, and could run around FSing?:D

I don't feel like making an example out of someone in their Afterlife thread. And I will remember other things about the character, not just the way he died.

If people want to discuss the morality of any given final strike and the suckage of the spell itself, that should probably go in General Discussion, in my opinion.

I liked Klee, but from what I've read here and heard IC first, went out with a bang. I like

And, wow, if you want to go the Chaos route, no way was Klee actually that mad about getting killed by some spiders, in an inn, getting exorcised/rezzed within 30 seconds, and not losing any of his eq.

I was responding to Maze's post which was addressed to me, and right above mine. I repeated my previous statement in case she had not read it in the first place, and it served as a direct response to her comments.

that's precisely the reason you don't care - because it didn't hit you.

i maintain that this was an abuse of a spell that should be reserved for very specific situations, justified by RP. it is not acceptable just to say "chaos!" and leave it there. you can say the same thing for practically every religion in the game:

- pain
- purification
- death
- fate
- destruction
- war

perhaps i'm less lenient because i didn't like the character in the first place, but it seems like extremely poor form for a player to do this. OOC courtesy does exist.

I don't care, because Im not one of those hardcore hoarders that think they must have everything in the game even if I dont need it. Maybe she should make a char that takes that route for a change besides being a loot [REDACTED] on every char?

I usually tend to pk more than ANYBODY else that plays the game, and against odds nobody except a necromancer would touch, and I spend most of my playing time in inns. And I'm a loot [REDACTED]. Wow. If somebody wants my EQ, stop by an inn and try to take it.

And the "loot" doesn't really matter. I had all my staves, wands and stuff back within like 2 hours of the FS. The [REDACTED] thing is that I now have to spend at least 10-15 hours enchanting(crappy clothing, not really "loot"), because some idiot got bored with his character, and decided to FS before deleting.
