There's been no logs of the bug abuses sent my way about Emet. Most of the logs I've been sent by people were complaining about RP or interaction and had nothing to do with bug abuse. I don't know what specific "bug abuse" you're talking about. I can't believe you're calling us hypocritical when you never sent me a log of all of the supposed bug abuses. Its like you expect us to just use the force or something. He was heavily leaning upon the same tactics that every other successful PKer had used. How is it that it was okay to do this very same thing all of the time in SK until he started doing it more often and better than those previously? It wasn't any new tactic he was using. These were long tried methods. Because its Algon we have to punish him? Sorry. No. I have argued many hours with Algon, but I've never found him to be disrespectful as long as I've maintained the same. There have been heated discussions, but I have also had times that I've gained in understanding and learned from him. I am glad this character is gone, but I'm also thankful that the game has people that will be edgy. If I missed the logs, I'm truly sorry I didn't see them. I respond to almost every email I get.

The only "bug abuse" if you could call it that, was him reciting scrolls without breaking sanc or the law, but that argument is weak at best.

I didn't call you hypocritical, Achernar.

And no matter what, you still owe me a pizza.

:/

Obvious differences between Aldric and Nosephthyki.

Hmm, First off...Nose is a...Deep-elf? Oh my, couldnt be? ...As a light priest of the church of dulrik, that automatically makes him look down on that person for the whole fact that she is a deep-elf and deep-elf's aren't much liked in nerina, and he was the leader of the guard there. Just my thought on that part.

Aldric perhaps didnt stick out as much, and didnt act like a 'darky' would. So at that, his character icly gave him a chance? *shrugs* Just maybe.

I lost this post, so let me be brief in summarising why I felt this was an awful character despite the player's ego:

1) Was simply an ooc player you saw in game. The worst example of this for me wasn't even the crucible crusade when the cabal barely existed (didnt have all spells or an HQ), it was his reaction to people looking at law boards - I cannot believe any player who understands ic/ooc or RP would have typed in the says you have about people who look at law boards being "trouble"(pkillers). Utter rot.

2) Was just a darkie - there's nothing wrong with playing aberrant in this tribunal in my mind. People should be punished for breaking alignment more. I played with and against Drathios/Halcidan/Gloif, and they had so much more class than Emet however much they were hated at the time (mainly cause you never felt they were ooc motivated).

3) Boasting about pkill. Yes, you got a lot of pkills with scrolls. Whoopy doo. You looked for decent fights? As far as I can tell, whenever there were even vaguely even numbers against experienced players you hid online or logged off.

4) Multiplay - when you couldn't get what you wanted on Emet, you'd log onto some other character to achieve exactly the same goals (pkilling darkies). I bet I coulda levelled up a sorc and final struck in a room with Emet when they first met - What you did with this character is no different.

Nerina is supposed to be more neutral than Exile. It's a lightie/grey city. When MC and Talons were fighting, it was like Aldric was totally exempt. The level of aid and c-jerking that Aldric and Emet did to each other was astonishing. Nose was banished immediately just because he didn't like her. I don't mind if Emet was BFF with every darkie in the realms, but to pick and choose between them? To banish people from Nerina for no good reason and then shower presents and love onto Aldric? Didn't make sense for a Dulrik priest.

One more good thing about Emet: he really would insta-rez you. The perfect PK priest.

-edit-
Took out some IC info

I thought Algon could [REDACTED] me off... but really Algon isn't to blame. It is -obviously- people like Achernar that should be held accountable.

I really did not like this character. He casted judgement too quickly and refused to actually play a proper Truth priest. This of course, lead to just more enemies for him and he apparently lives for that in regards to this game.

I was curious though, how much the voodoo I attempted on him actually did.

My EFFING GOD did I attempt to keep the Hammer out of this OOC-driven crap! I saw it immediately for what it was, but Amschel just HAD to let Emet pull Morea into the fray.

It was avoided until it became completely irresponsible ICly to ignore it. :/

Hated Emet. There's little more I need to say. Play a character, and not a tool.
