You come off as very jaded in this post, Tragonis, and maybe you do have a right, but I for one know that I interact with almost everyone that my character even happens to be in the same room with, regardless of level or gear. I remember seeing you on the who list, in fact, and wondering why I hadn't met you.
As far as tribunals and OOC Cliques go... you probably have a point there, as I've definitely sensed a large amount of OOC in the game which has pissed me off greatly, but I still try to find players who are actually interested in playing/exploring the game, and not in just "getting the leet loot" or "winning." It sucks to know that now there's apparently one less player who has the same interests I do.
I'd like to say this, though: You were hanging out with Azauri at the time of your frustration, who is played by Adroan... and although I can't speak specifically about Azauri and still hold out on hope for Adroan, his characters in the past have all had a very poor sense of distinction between IC and OOC. I'm not surprised that you managed to get spam killed by another PC in his company, especially considering that he's a marfik priest. To sum up: If you play a character who's going to aggravate others (especially crazy deep-elves) then you had better be willing to accept the consequences, and they aren't always going to be pretty. It's never a bad idea to lay low if you [REDACTED] of a sorceror and get killed, which is a stark contrast to trying to cast remove compulsion on their charm (Which can very easily end up in a bash and death for the charmer)
When it comes down to it, I've got no idea of what specifically happened in this case, but I've got a strong feeling that all the parties involved could have done things better: It just so happens that the player on the losing side wasn't used to losing and rage deleted instead of thinking on what he might have done better.
Sucks to see you go, Trag, but honestly, I get the feeling that you're just getting a taste of your own medicine: I have a really hard time seeing you talk about sportmanship when you once asked for resurrection from a NEW PLAYER dabi priest with your hammer centaur barb, then upon getting resurrected, RP'd a little, killed him, then junked everything that he had. Can you really tell me that you're not part of the reason that Mezcao doesn't play anymore?
I am sorry if you see me as jaded, I don't believe I am actually. I did rp with Mezcao, and he knew I was a hammer barb. He returned me and I roleplayed getting into my rage and frenzy and killing everything in sight. I don't think I junked his kit though. I don't think I have ever junked anyone entire kit. Maybe looted it for my own exploitations.
As for the current happenings; I was in the same room as Azauri, who was trying to get his friend to make some skins. I was messing around with a magma mephit and seeing if he can Ventrilequate. It can and I made a scout say that Ealuriel smells funny. That turned out to be me being killed three times by the same player in 30 minutes, a full loot, Azauri killed 4 times, and a full loot, and Methias once, even after I requested for it to stop. Not once did I cast a hostile spell on the said player, except uncharming prince lathron.
It was not a rage deletion, but I considered the time it would take to requip/ enchant and wait for spirit disorientation to wear off. I just didn't feel like bothering with it. I know the times I played the meaniest Necromancer, the worst I would do is stun someone, blood mote them, take their pants, and mangle their limbs. Then I would tell his allies where to find him for the ridicule.
I think it is better for me to use my time on other projects anyhow. I loved my short reunion with sk, but I want to have fun playing. And the two things that drove me away was the elite circle of cabals, with no indications if I was making progress of being inducted. And believe me, I was actively seeking! And the other reason was the lack of sportsmanship. I think the game, shatteredkingdoms is outstanding, but the players are broken. Obviously that game is not fun without its players, but those few that use it deteriorate the fun of others are doing a marvelous job.
