PvP is a better choice of words than pk. Cabals are inherently a PvP arena. Instead of PvP oriented let's say PvP skilled.
Patrisaurus makes an accurate statement here. I'd take it to heart and let this all roll off your chest, Whinston. No hard feelings.
Eberhardt was a decent voice of a character, but not a strong arm. Perhaps he could have been better utilized by both the player and the cabal.
On the other hand, perhaps he was best left as more of a spiritual leader. Seems the end here came too abruptly and not in synch at all with the kind of message the character was sending.
It's hard to fear a quitter. Someone who turns down a duel... is effectively a quitter. Eberhardt failed to practice what he preached.
And Eberhardt didn't have to be the best fighter out there, but he should have had the charisma (I mean look at the volumes output) to have invoked strong men around him to get the work done. The truth is for all the words, he had not the listeners nor following where it mattered. You can't blame others for that. Not entirely, anyway.
So if you're not the best tactician, nor care about PvP, next time around the block, don't prioritize leading a cabal, and frankly avoid it. It doesn't suit your play style. You'll be less frustrated, and happier. There are places you can, and have, made impacts. Contributions you have made, and a 'character' as far as the drive you had behind it, at least, some of us won't forget, even if it ultimately failed. PS.. I did enjoy reading all his stuff.
Good luck with your next.
