This is a game, to me Enmity is not important. To the game, it is, as it's a rule set and specifically stated that you must follow it just as you must follow all other rules of this game. If you don't like it then gtfo and play something else besides an elf or deep-elf.

You shouldn't play the race if you can't follow the help files. You think it's stupid? That's your opinion, but it's still how the race works. If it helps you play your character, think of it as being as much of a magical compulsion as being effected by charm person.

I killed a Chaos follower, playing as a Death Follower, when Death is warring with Chaos. I didnt grief him after wards, I showed him a harsh reality. As for Emnity, it needs to be looked at if it is some Magical Repulsion.
