Until recently, I actually thought we had a good group of players, until I was killed and looted for seemingly no reason other than someone was pissed off. I don't really get the "enemy by association" concept. If I'm a lightie and I hang out with a darkie on occasion, it doesn't really change my alignment. I don't agree with PK PK PK all the time. I'm not sure who would. I think the roleplay DOES suck nowadays.
Jennbo, I hate to break this to you, but being in the same faction as someone's enem(ies)y gives them more than ample reason to kill you(Hell, people die for less reason than that all the time.). And yes, this is true, even if your faction accepts everyone and their mother as members.
(Not to mention I've seen your character engage in PK pretty actively.)
(And no, I was not involved in this at all, and if anything, actually play an ally of your character.)

Anyways. Roleplay isn't dead. What
IS dead, is Roleplay between enemies. That has been dead for ages.
Either way, turning off quiet mode after PK is disgusting and lame. I don't mind enemies, but I think your last point summed up what I was trying to say in a three paragraph rant. Enemy RP is dead, and the quiet mode just proves it.

And Syndal, all your characters are PK-ish. This isn't an insult, I suck at PK and I'm glad that a girl can PK with twinkish nerdy boys who don't do anything all day other than this.
But my character doesn't really see "sides" or good or evil or any of that. If someone's going to attack her for her associations either religion or faction (which not everyone knows about, thanks for bringing it up) they should at least freaking talk to her. Can people not understand that?
