I liked Bromus, despite my current character not agreeing with him.

I really liked your character. I could tell he was on a short fuse as Ezeant. And I/Ezeant saw that when he spoke with you last and felt for everyone in the situation.

Interesting take on a gray-aura Keeper. I loved the banishment proclamations, especially banishing the Hand from pyrathia.

Sorry the dragon riders never got any attention, it would be cool. It was fun to fight on your side the few times that I did. You just didn't have the numbers on your side.

A lot of antimosity towards Bromus from players with characters that had problem with you IC.. shouldnt be brought here IMO. Bromus had a lot of great, quality RP imbedded in him. Assuming I have any faith in the foundation of this game.. you would NEED good RP to become a leader. So for that I applaud you. Drale is probably pissing his pants, or will, once he reads that you deleted

If I may say however, I do not agree with some of the things you mentioned. "Harlequins as a perpetually large cabal". This couldn't be further from the truth. When I ditched Jance, the harlequins had NO activity. Three NOTBLE active harlies (At peak hours). My understanding now, they need attention and deserve it.

Also, you commented somewhere about the darkies outnumbering/overpowering the lighties or more traditionally, the "westerners". More often than not, you light-hearts have more numbers. The problem is the piss-poor ability to coordinate yourselves and work together effectively. This is where the Black Hand is unbeatable.. an elite and diverse group working together and coordinated by brilliant SK veterans.

From the first I heard of him, and sat in on the tribunal to decide his fate as a young peacekeeper, to the day he and I both became 'captains' of Taslamar, in our own rights, I liked Bromus a lot. He seemed consistent and was always ready to aid. The lighties lose another good player it seems, I only hope he rolls a non-darkie.

Orac I think you thought to hard into the whole OOC hate thing. You shouldn't have deleted Things were getting so good too.

Secondly, and this is by far the funniest part: Did you ever once think that the reason everyone called Bromus a simple-minded idiot was because *gasp* he was? Good god, man, the problem doesn't have to lie in everyone else all the time.


As for the character, Bromus seemed to be a very proud gray-aura'd Peacekeeper, and was the only Westerner, save Navelic, that Braxis had any respect for. Sadly, what I assumed to be pride and arrogance were actually you just getting OOCly frustrated. Whatever. Maybe with your next character you'll learn that if a bunch of people start insulting you for the same exact thing, maybe they have a point.
