I loved Inzaarid when you were on your game. Inzaarid was a dynamic character that clearly had fears and frustrations yet still seemed somewhat invincible (in spirit) to those who didn't know better. He epitomized the "one man vs. the world" mentality, and that sort of attitude fit with the Uxmal concept well. I had a ton of fun with him on all of the characters I've had over the last few years.

I do have one major gripe with the character, though. He was far too quick to get jumpy and cause the death of lowbies. I heard of and personally experienced many times where Inzaarid would kill a lowbie or order their death because they were in the way or just plain near him or his allies in the time surrounding a PK. My personal experience came when my character walked in, asked what happened, was told to leave, was called a [REDACTED] and then was killed all in the matter of a few moments, leaving me questioning how long I would continue to play this game had that been my first or second character on the MUD and I didn't know Inzy better.

I understand that no one is perfect, and we all certainly make our mistakes, but it may be something you want to work on with the next one. And there better damn well be a next one.

Good luck with your next and double if it’s a darkie,

-Randy

I have to say, I experienced Inzy from a few chars.
There were times I loved him, times I hated him and times I just plain got annoyed with him.
I really have a mixed view of Inzy, but overall I think he was a successful char.

I have to say, I really liked Inzaarid. I'm pretty sad, because he was one of the characters I was looking forward to interacting with the most on Braxis. Dang gods and their killing off of PCs.

I know you enjoyed playing him, and thanks for the entertainment throughout all my different characters. From being the perfect foe against Valtari, to being a very complex entity with Braxis, I enjoyed all my interactions with you, although I never did get around to reading your description. I'm kinda lazy like that.

The RP between Inzy and Slayne was truly epic. I really miss those days, especially the early harlie days when we were plotting against Umiro.

I also liked rping with Inzy as Ghimgul. I remember the one time I pk'd you in nerina after destroying the city because someone offered me 10 obsidian to do it. It was like a pay check inside a pay check. :D

Your character was great and one of my more favorite characters of all time. I look forward to your next incarnation.

It is hard to plot against someone that was afk while at the game and passed the torch via ooc means.

I used to love the [REDACTED] that Inzy and Ace did. We probably killed a couple hundred Exile NPCs by ourselves just to bring down the coffers of the Peacekeepers.

I completely agree with this. In books, D & D, other sort of things in this genre of fantasy people try very hard to preserve their own lives while going out on their adventures. I've always gone out of my way to elude death and avoid in in P V P, P V M, P V E. My characters are imaginary people, and realistically people try to live.

As for Inzaarid himself, I hate to say it but each char I had that met him either secretly loathed him or just plain old didn't like him or want to listen to him. But whatever there's more people to play with out there then me. Glad you had fun with him.

UGH I was so depressed when my brother called me and told me that today was the day...I really wanted to see Inzy one last time as Ceinwyn but I had to WORK! Thanks, real-world! GAH

I absolutely loved Inzaarid. Words don't express the awesome-ness of this character! I'll miss my grampa!

If Rory would have still been around he would have liked to say good-bye.

Inzy was a great char IMO.

I miss Inzaarid already.

I logged in, and was like 'oh yeah, I'm dead'.
