Loved all of your characters, from Heishi seeing Keleza for the first time wandering free in Nerina. To Marshall trying his best to kill her at his Masters Request, and even my new guy seeing Tsutsui flying around the Empire. People are gonna hate no matter what.

Despite what all of you think, these characters all had a distinct different feel from them.

I enjoyed playing with them a lot, with you a lot, sad to see you go. Only reason I kept Iureana around was because you made it fun to keep playing! Sense I will probably be posting an afterlife thread too.

Whenever you decide to roll again, hit me up, I'll definitely play with you.

I guess if anyone here knows how all of them "felt" it would be you.

From the other side of the fence, it seemed as though Syn's primary objective on at least two out of three of these characters was to make the game less fun for those she was opposing. That may not have been her intention, but that's how she came off. So, good riddance.

That being said, Syn has pulled it off in the past I think. With characters that walked the oh so thin line between creating conflict and being a boost to the mud, and all out griefing people into deletion and whatnot.

I suppose that was a poor choice of words, and one of you would have come in here to start that crap up again.

I tried to be as tasteful as I could, but I just couldn't let that one pass by.

Syn, you definitely have the scariest characters that walk the MUD, hands down. I've always had a lot of respect for your characters, though I was on the opposite side of all of them (even when we should have been on the same team). Much respect, and much love. I'd echo the sentiment that it would be more interesting to see you play a gray pacifist priest for a change (that doesn't learn scrolls). Just something that would force you to slow down for a time and let the rest of us enjoy the game with you in ways other than getting our faces smashed in.

This is the one I couldn't pass up. Sorry, ardith -- but that's an extremely poor choice of words.

Yeah, Syn does need a break. She can be a terrific player, but all jaded up she seemed to have been playing her RL anger towards... well, pretty much everyone, instead of really roleplaying her characters. Her characters ended up as pathetic excuses for her own frustration.

However, she has time and again proven that she can be not only an excellent PKer, but a wonderful RPer as well. I really hope she takes her time to calm down and come back with a real character, and not PMS dummies.

I was talking to someone who brought up a suggestion that perhaps Syn might be manic. I don't mean that in a cruel, jesting way - I'm a big supporter of mental health awareness, having clinical depression and anxiety disorder myself - but the way she goes on SK "binges" and "rages" and literally seems to do nothing else and lets it consume her, then quits a few days later seems indicative of a manic/depressive cycle. Of course, with my bachelor's degree in Communications, I could be totally talking out of my [REDACTED].

I mean, I guess we all do that to an extent, I go through SK phases (mostly relating to how much free time I have, not any emotional reason) myself but I really hope she takes a break and relaxes. She can be a lot of fun and very helpful when she's playing SK while she's calm and neutral.

I thoroughly enjoy playing with Syn, especially when she's on my side. I only interacted with Keleza and maybe Gemma and I had positive interactions when I was playing.

Could be a number of things, but people won't do anything until they are ready. I have seen similarities in a number of sk people and myself, but I am just projecting. I can say syn seems like she has an issue but I can't make her get help. Wish she would as would some others, bake their lives more enjoyable and less full of frustration.
