Most people who log as many hours as Syn have the SK disease. She'll float back around sometime, mark mein words. Until then, SK will miss one of its most active and balls to the walls PKers. Who'd have thought that a [REDACTED] Quae Sister would turn into what you are.

I feel like you've never had much love for RP, but I do believe you can do it. Maybe it's just that you don't care. Every time I'm about to chastise someone about RP though, I just remind myself what a hugely nerdy maneuver that right there is. It's too bad I never got to see much of Ealuriel since I heard she was your best. Anyway, happy trails

Ealuriel's flaw was that she did not seem to develop as a character. It was the same package shipped through different environments. In fact, that's how Syn's characters felt overall: the same baggage shipped on different boats.

See what I did there? That is something constructive. It makes it more likely that Syn sees Ealuriel as something she could top next time.

I for one do not think the Cult of Ealuriel is very productive.

You fanboys are what drove her away by creating a memory of greatness she could never again achieve -- you inflate Ealuriel's success beyond what Syn can feel comfortable aiming for, as it says here in plain English.

Shame on you all.

By grep's insightful feedback, we ought to re-invent the wheel every time we create a new character, such as going light aura in Midnight Council, as well as striving for mediocrity, and never try to be as good as we once were, or better.

Aim short and at least we will hit the target.
